Redmond Real Estate Market

Overlake RecreationMuch of Redmond's real estate market is centered on single-family homes and townhome-style condos. However in recent years, the city's development has been focused on the downtown area, setting the tone for more efficient, urban-style living without compromising its quaint, small-town-like charm.

Redmond has a broad range of homes for sale at any given time. Options include townhomes and urban condos near Redmond Town Center and Avondale, single-family homes in planned neighborhoods like Redmond Ridge homes, and rural acreage properties in the heavily wooded neighborhoods of Novelty Hill and Ames Lake.

Many of the older Redmond neighborhoods, like Education Hill , are transforming the local housing market, as home buyers relocating to Redmond often remodel the older single-family homes. For the buyer who finds new construction homes an expensive option, there are usually a selection of recently renovated homes for sale within the Redmond city limits, which can often a better investment compared to new construction.
