Homes are typically smaller in square footage, but more affordable than other areas of Bellevue. Thus, strong demand continues to fuel a fast-paced real estate market, often resutling in interest from multiple buyers. During the previous 12 month period, nearly half of all homes sold in Newport Hills went pending in only 7 days or less, and two-thirds were listed for sale less than 30 days. However, demand for condos & townhomes tends to be weaker.
Residents of Newport Hills are served by the Bellevue School District and the Renton School District. The boundary running east-west between the districts is SE 60th St. However, district boundaries commonly wind through Bellevue neighborhoods and MLS listing information isn't always correct. Thus, if you are considering a move to the Newport Hills area, and are interested living in a particular school boundary, please be sure to VERIFY the schools yourself before entering into a purchase contract.
