The Woodridge neighborhood in Bellevue is located near the interchange with Interstate 405 & I-90, giving residents very convenient access to all of Bellevue, and a quick commute to Downtown Seattle. The Woodridge neighborhood showcases a great range of architecture as its developed & matured over the years, with some new homes built as recently as 2001 - primarily in the Saratoga subdivision. Originating in the early 1950's, home styles consist of smaller ramblers, and mid-century modern homes - many of which are situated on lots with sweeping views of Downtown Bellevue and beyond. Later in the 1960's, split- and tri-level homes became popular, in addition to a few traditional two-story homes with brick or stone accents. Due to the hills and sloping lots in Woodridge, many of the homes also have daylight basements.
The housing market in Woodridge is very active, with a relatively broad price range compared to more expensive areas of Bellevue. Home buyers may find smaller rambler style homes for sale priced beginning in the upper $300's to lower $500's depending on updates or remodeling. Larger split-levels and traditional homes larger than 2000 square feet typically start in the upper $500's, and rise quickly near the million dollar mark - especially for homes with significant remodeling and views.
